Mr. Randolph W. Dixon

Randolph W. Dixon age 90 of 125 Major Meadows Road Belton passed Saturday at his home. He was born in Abbeville County and was the son of the late James Robert Dixon Sr. and Carrie Jane Epps Dixon. He was a member of Dunn Creek Baptist Church and attended New Destined Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter Frances L. Dixon of Belton S.C., one son Suatavayus R.T. Dixon (Duke) of Alabama, one sister Emma (Dollie) McClinton Thompson of Greenville S.C., 12 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephew, cousin, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Ph’Fronia Ann Dixon, Sister Bertha Mae Dixon Carter, brothers James Robert Dixon Jr, John Claud Dixon, Jessie Dixon, and Henry Dixon Godson Tommy (Cat) Henry, and Goddaughter Qunita Cody. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at New Destined Outreach Church, burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, and public viewing will be Thursday from 12:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family is at 131 Major Meadows Rd Belton S.C. Holloway’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
