James Anthony Edwards age 54 of 114 Moorehead Street Belton passed Thursday at his home. He was born in Anderson County and was the son of the late William Marion and Eula Mae Smith Edwards. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include 5 Children Antoine Edwards of Portsmouth Va., Alex Edwards of Norfolk Va., Thomas Peele of Portsmouth Va., Taylor Edwards of Portsmouth Va., 3 sisters Glenda Elaine Swinson of Union Dale New York, Gail Davis of Belton S.C., and Patricia Hunt of Charleston S.C., 7 brothers Calvin Edwards of Clovis California, Harry Edwards of Belton S.C., Rev. John Edwards of Anderson S.C., Marion Edwards of Belton S.C., and Robert Edwards of Anderson S.C., Malcolm Edwards of Anderson S.C., and Roger Edwards of Belton S.C., 1 grandchild Joshua Peele, He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Adreana Edwards, two brothers Ralph and George Edwards. Funeral services Tuesday 2:00P.M. at New Broadmouth Baptist Church
