Mr. Henry E. Dixon

May 4, 1939 - June 24, 2017

Henry E. Dixon, 78, of 102 “U” Street, passed on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born in Anderson County and was the son of the late James Dixon, Sr. and Carrie Epps Dixon. He was the husband of Rubynell Jackson Dixon. He was a member of Dunn Creek Baptist Church and retired from Torrington Industries after many years of service. He was a member of Dunn Creek Lodge #302. He is preceded in death by his wife Rubynell Dixon; Survivors includes sons, Steve Dixon of Honea Path, S.C. and Craig Dixon of Anderson, S.C.; sister, Emma Dolly McClinton-Thompson of Mauldin, S.C.; brother, Randolph Dixon of Honea Path, S.C.; 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, 1:00 P.M. at Dunn Creek Baptist Church, Ware Shoals, S.C. with burial in Anderson Memorial Gardens, Anderson. The family is at the home.
